Do the members of your troop committee know their jobs? If not, maybe your committee could use some training.

Troop Committee Training is available on Sunday of Session 3 (October 11, 2009) if there is any interest.

And, the Okama staff does this training at time per your request!

A training team can come to regular troop meeting, your regular committee meeting or any other time you can get your adults together. The training takes about an hour. It explains the role of each committee member, shows how they act together and how the committee interacts with the Scoutmaster and Assistant Scoutmasters.

This is an enjoyable time for any adult in the troop, not just the committee members. Everyone will have a greater understanding of just what the committee does and how it gets done. Committee members who attend are eligible to wear the "trained" strip on their sleeve after this free training.
