PSA's

Personal Skill Activities (PSA’s) are activities that are patterned after the advancement requirements for Tenderfoot through First Class found in the Boy Scout Handbook.

There are two purposes of the PSA’s. First, it helps a participant to understand what a Scout has to do to find time for advancement along with everything else in his life. Second, it is important that participants understand these skills, as they may be called upon to assist their Troop in approving or teaching these skills with Scouts. While these do take some time outside of the course, most require only a few minutes.

Tickets

"Tickets" are used in the course to give the participants an opportunity to experience filling out some of the normal paperwork in a typical Troop. The purpose of doing tickets is to familiarize you with a bit of the paperwork so you can appreciate the jobs of others.
