SCOUT LEADER ENHANCED BASIC TRAINING...Helping Adults help Scouts become better men

This basic training teaches one method:

The Patrol Method, the tried and true Scouting method

Have Fun Learning & Living the Patrol Method

Attending each session with the same patrol members provides continuity. Your Scouts will benefit from your learning of Scout skills, patrol operation, and troop organization. At the end of the course you will be presented with the "Trained" strip, a national training award, a certificate of completion for the new "Outdoor Skills" training course and much more.

This type of training is still the best interactive indoor and outdoor learning experience, taught by an experienced and enthusiastic staff.  This enhanced course allows parents, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Committee Chairmen, Chartered Organization Representatives, Committee Members, WEBLOS Leaders and Den Leaders to 'live' Scouting and learn by doing.  The course provides great fun, new friends and outstanding benefits for

all Scouters ages 18 and older.

The leadership training philosophy of the Boy Scouts of America is to provide adult leaders with fundamental information about the aims and purposes of the movement, as well as specifics about their particular roles in Scouting. A trained leader is knowledgeable and confident in the role being performed. The knowledge and confidence of a trained leader are quickly sensed by Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Varsity Scouts, or Venturers and are a positive influence

on their lives.

Become the leader you think about...

Have fun while learning...

Help your Scouts experience more
